Students – love poetry and want to win £100? Enter Poems Aloud competition!

Open only to University of St Andrews students, our Poems Aloud! competition (run in collaboration with the StAnza International Poetry Festival) asks you to perform a poem you have memorised on stage at The Byre Studio Theatre, to a panel of judges. The prize is £100! Below is the list of poems you can choose from.

A panel of judges (the panel this year is: Principal Sally Mapstone, Professor Jane Stabler (Head of School of English) and Professor Don Paterson) will rate the best delivery and pick a winner during the live recital in The Byre on Friday March 6 at 3.30pm.
