One-to-one help
liaison team 2014
The Academic Liaison team are on hand to help with searching databases, accessing ebooks or any of our resources, referencing software and more!
Consistent opening times
You will always know when the Library is open – during semester we are open 8am-2am each and every day!
However, to give you additional access, from Tuesday 5th May until Thursday 21st May we’ll extend the hours for St Mary’s College Library (to: 0900-1900 Monday-Friday) and JF Allen Library in the Physics building (to: 08.00-22.30 Monday-Friday & 09.00-17.00 Saturday-Sunday). For full details of opening times have a look at our webpage.
Alternative study spaces

The Library can get very busy, so the Students Association has compiled a list of spaces where you can find a seat and/or a pc if the Library is closed or too busy.
See how busy the Library is by viewing the gate counts.

Group study rooms
Want a quieter space to study together? Book one of our group study rooms. We have rooms on levels 2 and 4. There must be at least 2 people in your group.

The Helpdesk is open:

Monday-Friday 09.00-21.00
Saturday 10.00-17.00
Sunday 11.00-18.00

If you have a question or are not sure about something, ask at the Helpdesk.
Recall service
If you need a book for revision, or if you just need that book, and someone has borrowed it, recall it – they will have one week to return it for you (shhh, recalls are anonymous). Not sure how to recall a book, have a look at our webpages for details.
