Library trick or treat?!

Library poster with moon
From the afternoon of Wednesday 26th October until Monday 31st (Halloween!) we will be inviting you to give us feedback about your experience of the Library. Write how you feel on sticky notes available on the table at the Main Library entrance, and post them on the Library moon poster (above).
Orientation is now a distant memory, so much has happened, so many new friends, so much shaving foam…but we want you to cast you mind back to when you arrived in St Andrews and to what you thought the Library might be like. We want you to do this to check if there was any information we could give or anything we could do to make your experience better. We want to make sure your time in the Main Library, St Mary’s, JF Allen and Martyrs is a dream rather than a recurring nightmare, so tell us what are your Library treats and what are the tricks!

Once you’ve left a sticky note (green for tricks and orange for treats), please feel free to pick up a cute (but, of course, terrifying) bat bug and some of our tasty treats – gingerbread skeletons and toffee apples (get them while you can)!

Tell us how we could improve what we do for you, and what you like so we’ll keep doing that too!
During these dates we will also have a couple of mini-displays showing examples of some ghost stories from our Special Collections, set around familiar spots in St Andrews, and some films and books to scare yourselves with from our General Collections!
If you have any questions about the feedback campaign, or any comments, please email [email protected]
