Monday 12th. Had a picnic on the South Island. Arrived the Granite City of Aberdeen.

Time for a guano picnic! Mmmmm. The South Island was the smallest of the three Chincha Islands, made of granite with high cliffs, but accessible by ladders and chutes for guano deliveries to the ships.
