6th April 1860:
Good Friday 6th. Had a party aboard. Nothing to do. R.C. Clitherow and Kilgore aboard. Went ashore and had a bathe.
Nothing very religious about Good Friday on the ships but they did get the day off and partied with friends from the Kensington. Funny that their Easter is so close to our own this year.
