Day 259. Flying fish and salt horse: a seafaring tale
15th April 1860:
Sunday 15th. Richards went with the Kensington Boys to Bathe. Poupard and I had to go ashore which prevented our going. A funeral from the Lady Blaney. The Sailmaker and Chips aboard the Confidence to dinner. Richards Poupard and I aboard the Kensingtion to dinner and tea. Spent a very pleasant afternoon.
