Thursday 4th May. Very dull and foggy with no wind until afternoon. a light breeze in the afternoon , my 8 hours on deck a fine breeze sprung up about 2 o’clock, hove the ship to until about 5 AM when we sighted Lorenzo.
First day back at sea, although they aren’t going very far, just to Callao, and have already sighted the isle of Lorenzo at the mouth of the port.
