17th May 1860:

Thursday 18th. Still calm. Hands setting up rigging. Pumps carefully attended. The ship all aback when the Mate came on deck at 12 PM. Had to wear her round. Very little wind and raining until 4 A M. Left off raining and little breeze sprung up.
