29th May 1860:

Tuesday 30th. Sent down F.T. G. Sail to mend again. Bent it again at 12 AM. 8 AM Set M and Mizn T.G. Sails and F. Jib. 10 AM. Set M.T.G. Staysails. The weather very squally. 6 PM Stowed F and Mizn T.G. Sails and Flying Jib also M.T.G. Staysails. The Mate caught half a dozen Cape Pigeons. Going to stuff some of them. Raining nearly all night and very cold. Going 6 Knots.
