Day 315. Flying fish and salt horse: a seafaring tale
10th June 1860:
Sunday 10th. Much finer this morning but still a nasty sea on. made sail. Came on to blow again at night. Double reefed the Topsails and reefed Main and Foresails stowed Crossjack. 12 PM Close reefed the Topsails and stowed main and Foresails. Pumps carefully attended. Sick man aft.
