Day 320. Flying fish and salt horse: a seafaring tale
15th June 1860:
Friday 15th. Still calm, a little breeze in the afternoon. going 3 ½ knots. Pumps carefully attended. (sighted the Horn on Wed afternoon 13th)
Richard adds a note that they really did see the Horn on the 13th, as the Captain had thought. Not too stormy yet, they are lucky.
