25th June 1860:

Monday 25th. This morning the wind chopped round to the N.E. which is dead ahead. The Capt vexed this morning about the foot rope of the Foresail which had got chafed nearly through against the Topsail sheets. washed decks. Dull and Foggy with drizzling rain. Sun obscure, no observation. Going 4 knots.
