In preparation for the reopening of the Main Library on Monday 5 September, the Click and Collect service will be changing.

In order to finish essential works, we will not be able to access the collections in the Main Library from Wednesday 31 August until Monday 5 September. To access items from this building through Click and Collect or the scanning service, please request before 3.30pm on Tuesday 30 August.

From 5 September, the building and its collections will once again be open for in-person browsing and Click and Collect will not be available for items held in the Main Library, after this date.

You will be able to pick up Click and Collect items from St Mary’s College Library until 2pm on Friday 2 September. If you have any items waiting for collection after this time, they will be moved to the Main Library and will be available to collect from Monday 5 September.

After 30 August, you will still be able to request items from Walter Bower House Library. You will be able to pick these items up from the Main Library from 5 September.

Scan and Deliver will continue to be available for items from all sites apart from the Main Library.

The temporary pause in access to Main Library collections is due to an electrical shutdown which will prevent staff access to the Main Library building for Click and Collect, as well as to enable us to prepare for reopening on 5 September.

Please do take advantage of the opportunity to request items before 3.30pm on Tuesday 30 August.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you have any questions, please call, chat or email [email protected].
