Study space update September 2022
Main Library reopened on 5 September
After extensive works over the summer, this, the largest of the University’s Libraries, has reopened. You can enjoy a variety of study space including large tables with dividers, individual and group study areas, as well as pcs and printers. Although work will continue in the Main Library, especially on the basement level where the biggest transformation is to take place, Library staff will do everything possible to minimise disruption and to make you aware of scheduled works. No work will be scheduled during exams.
The building will be open 7 days: 9am until 9pm Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm at the weekends, but we aim to return to longer opening hours as soon as possible.
The Franki Raffles Café within the Library building will be open from Monday 19 September, but a food truck will be at the entrance from Thursday 8 September.
